Service Description

This will be an interactive and hands on manual physical therapy course for Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA). The course is applicable to most type of work settings in rehabilitation. It is designed to advance the knowledge, clinical assessment and treatment of the upper extremity. Thorough discussions will be focused on mechanisms and application of manual physical therapy techniques, clinical decision making and problem solving of actual patient symptoms. Patient response model will be utilized for appropriate progression and modification of manual therapy techniques. Patient case presentations and live demonstrations will be available to assist in the participant’s understanding of manual therapy prescription. 75% Hands on Physical Therapy Techniques and Assessment.
